Bert has turned his 25 years of agribusiness experience towards asset management to meet the growing demand from family offices, corporate and fund/institutional investors looking to invest in Agriculture as a profitable nature-based solution.

Financial Analyst

After completing a Bachelor of Agribusiness, Rural Science at UNE, Tilly commenced working for the largest Australian beef producer for over 15 years from the ground up including starting as a jillaroo and then successfully delivering roles as a Livestock Administer, Financial Analyst, Livestock Logistics Manager and Project Manager.

Tilly now leads the financial and production analysis within Impact Ag Partners, assisting with partner strategy, producing financial models, budgets and management reporting across a variety of jurisdictions and commodities.

Toby Grogan
Toby Grogan
Natural Capital Manager

After growing up on the land and completing a Bachelor of Environmental Science, Toby has 20 years’ experience in due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, asset management and natural capital assessments across a range of industries including resource, agricultural, infrastructure and governmental sectors. He has led a variety of multidiscipline teams and projects in various jurisdictions across Australia.

More recently Toby has been focused on developing Nature Based Solution investments and leading the measurement and monetisation of natural capital across Impact Ag managed assets as well as independently managed portfolios

Ashley Foote
Compliance Manager

Growing up on a farm and gaining a Bachelor of Rural Science with 1st Class Honours and Grad certificate in Management, has Ashley well placed to support our clients.

Before joining Impact Ag Partners, Ashley had 10 years’ experience working with a vertically integrated beef company building her skills in Beef Breeding and Backgrounding Properties, Feedlot and Meat Processing.

Ashley’s expertise is in Quality and Food Safety Management Systems and Animal Welfare Management Systems and is experienced in data analysis.

Tom Archer
Tom Archer
Operations Manager

Tom has been involved in the agricultural industry all his life, growing up and living on the land. He has a practical background having had roles from jackeroo through to an operations manager for a large corporate.

Tom has the vision to have a positive influence on the responsible stewardship of quality land ensuring long-term benefits for the soil, production and environment. Along with this, is the importance of highly productive, low-stress livestock and sustainable cropping.

Tom’s assistance in engaging and mentoring the people and assisting in the development of the culture required, underpins successful relationships with our partners.

Sara Schmude
Sara Schmude
Natural Capital Analyst

Having grown up and worked in agriculture her whole life, and the completion of Bachelor of Natural Resources with Honours has seen Sara in several agricultural positions and over 20 years’ experience in sustainable land management and regenerative agriculture. She has previously held roles with Landcare Australia, developing and leading landscape scale remediation projects and championing education and development of land managers.

At Impact Ag, Sara leads a variety of natural capital projects including soil carbon projects, biodiversity assessments and research & development initiatives. She is involved with a variety of industry groups that are leading both practice change and legislative change to facilitate wider adoption and returns for regenerative agriculture.

Lexi has had exposure to a range of industries and always comes back to a passion for helping businesses grow and leverage their strengths in their field. Her background includes marketing, organisational management, financial management and implementation of improvement strategies in business.

The combination of experience and abilities in communication, organisation, planning and strategy allow Lexi to successfully implement effective business solutions. Her focus areas are on holistic marketing strategy, social communication and engagement, performance monitoring, budgeting and reporting.
