As Managing Director of Impact Ag Partners, Bert has over 20 years’ experience applying, measuring and reporting impact methodologies to agricultural assets.
Following on from family and large scale corporate managerial roles, Bert has turned his 20+ years of agribusiness experience towards asset management to meet the growing demand from family offices, corporate and private clients.
Bert’s expertise has been instrumental in implementing practical and effective management strategies, delivering positive outcomes for clients through continuous improvement. Bert has been involved in multiple value chain initiatives and supply chain collaborations for beef and lamb producers to improve on farm profitability through vertical integration.
Bert values performance data and business benchmarking and as a result, has served as CEO and a is co-founder of agricultural software company Maia Technology which develops decision support and data capture tools for the global agricultural industry.

Bert is a frequent guest lecturer in Agricultural Key Performance Indicators at the University of New England, Australia’s leading agricultural university and currently holds positions on private company and NFP boards. Bert studied Agricultural economics, sustainable agriculture and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company directors.

Growing up on a property near Bathurst and gaining a Bachelor of Rural Science with 1st Class honours and Grad certificate in Management, has Ashley well placed to support our clients.
Before joining Impact Ag Partners, Ashley had 10 years experience working with a vertically integrated beef company building her skills in Beef Breeding and Backgrounding Properties, Feedlot and Meat Processing.
Ashley’s expertise is in Quality and Food Safety Management Systems and Animal Welfare Management Systems and is experienced in data analysis.
Justine brings a wealth of experience to Impact Ag Partners in marketing and administration roles from varied business sectors. Justine commenced her career in the agriculture industry, also managing and owning a sheep stud property and has also worked with and supported teams in the construction and NGO sector. Justine enjoys working with the Impact Ag Partners team, assisting them and their clients in supporting and growing the business.

Lexi has had exposure to a range of industries and always comes back to a passion for helping businesses grow and leverage their strengths in their field. Her background includes marketing, organisational management, financial management and implementation of improvement strategies in business.
The combination of experience and abilities in communication, organisation, planning and strategy allow Lexi to successfully implement effective business solutions. Her focus areas are on holistic marketing strategy, social communication and engagement, performance monitoring, budgeting and reporting.

Tom has been involved in the agricultural industry all his life, growing up and living on the land. He has a practical background having had roles from jackeroo through to an operations manager for a large corporate.
Tom has the vision to have a positive influence on the responsible stewardship of quality land ensuring long-term benefits for the soil, production and environment. Along with this, is the importance of highly productive, low-stress livestock and sustainable cropping.
Tom’s assistance in engaging and mentoring the people and assisting in the development of the culture required, underpins successful relationships with our partners.
Having grown up on a family farm Toby began his career over 15 years ago in the agriculture sector, working on sheep and cattle operations in southern NSW. After gaining a Bachelor of Environmental Science, Toby’s career exposure grew to include resource, infrastructure and government sectors across NSW, Qld, WA and NZ. More recently Toby has played key roles in large-scale environmental impact assessments, feasibility studies, remediation projects, due diligence and M&A across a variety of sectors and geographies. This broad range of experiences along with a passion for sustainable production of food, fibre and raw materials enables Toby to apply a broad and balanced skill set to Impact Ag Partners clients and projects.
After gaining a Bachelor of Financial Administration and being admitted as a member of the Institute of Charted Accountants, David has had a successful career in agriculture which has spanned over twenty years primarily in Finance and Accounting roles. His strong financial management skills backed by a solid understanding of farming in broad acre, irrigated cropping and beef farming, helped him in playing a key role in a global agriculture portfolio management group, with responsibility for the identification, acquisition, and ongoing asset maintenance, including management budgets. David’s role as a Senior Agribusiness Manager for a leading bank handling large-scale dryland winter cropping farmers or irrigated cotton growers has given him the balanced skill set and extensive network for Impact Ag Partners and their clients.
