People are the key to the continual growth and transformation of Impact Ag Partners. Developing and recognising great people is important to the ongoing success of our business. Our new graduate program is the next step in strengthening our commitment to the Australian agricultural industry as we are dedicated to fostering the personal and professional development of young people in the industry.

Our graduate program will bring a new generation of young people to be part of a 2-year program that helps them to build a strong foundation for an exciting career and ensures we, as a business is constantly evolving and innovating, we have certainly seen a positive effect across the business already.

Ellah Thompson

Ellah Thompson has recently completed a Bachelor of Business with a double major in Agribusiness and Management.  She grew up on a cropping farm in Temora in the south-west slopes district of NSW. Ellah commenced with Impact Ag Partners while still completing her degree, working flexibly, a few days a week.  Her knowledge of the sector and her keen willingness to learn were factors in offering her a graduate position.

“I’m excited to have the opportunity to learn from such an experienced team at Impact Ag Partners.  My role has me working across our investor’s assets which has diverse portfolios, with different environmental and production systems,” she said. “This role has enabled me to create relationships with a variety of different industry personnel, giving me a broad understanding and diverse learning experience.”

Receiving practical training and on-the-ground experience across our investor’s assets while working closely with our senior experts and receiving first-hand experience in how we support our clients is not only valuable learning for the graduates but contributes effective solutions for our investor’s assets.

We work with graduates who have a passion for agriculture and nature-based solutions to develop their professional and technical skills, support their personal growth and set them up for a successful career.

Bert Glover, Managing Director of Impact Ag Partners says, “The graduate program is an opportunity to be at the forefront of profitable nature-based solutions and agricultural investment trends. Working with our team that is data-centric in demonstrating performance and monetising natural capital where possible.”

Over the next two years, Ellah will work with all members of our team and gain exposure to our investor’s assets that will help her to build a strong foundation for an exciting career.

She will have the chance to learn and challenge herself with interesting projects and responsibilities. Whether it’s analysing production data, identifying strategies that drive improvement, researching potential market areas, or developing farm budgets, financial forecasts, or annual plans.

This is not only an investment in our people but a long-term investment in Australian agriculture for our investors and their assets.
