Following on from family and large scale corporate managerial roles, Bert has turned his 20+ years of agribusiness experience towards asset management to meet the growing demand from family offices, corporate and private clients.

Bert’s expertise has been instrumental in implementing practical and effective management strategies, delivering positive outcomes for clients through continuous improvement. Bert has been involved in multiple value chain initiatives and supply chain collaborations for beef and lamb producers to improve on farm profitability through vertical integration.

Bert values performance data and business benchmarking and as a result is co-founder of agricultural software company Maia Technology which develops decision support and data capture tools for the agricultural industry.

Mark Cook
Mark Cook
Supply Chain Manager & Technical Adviser

Mark Cook has been involved in agriculture for the past 25+ years, 12 of which were involved in the production of grains, cattle, hay, feedlotting and a feed mill, as part of a family business.

For the past 10 years Mark has been involved in corporate agriculture, spending 9 years based in the Middle East, 5 years of which he was an Investment Manager – Global Animal Proteins with Hassad Food Company, a subsidiary of the Qatar Investment Authority, the Sovereign Wealth Fund of Qatar.

Mark’s blend of practical and financial experience provides a unique perspective for Impact Ag clients seeking to develop, expand or diversify their businesses. Mark brings a comprehensive suite of specialised agribusiness financial tools that allow clients detailed insights into the impact of changes to key productive and financial parameters; as well as cashflow implications associated with the timing of investment decisions.

Tom has been involved in the agricultural industry all his life, growing up and living on the land. He has a practical background having had roles from jackeroo through to an operations manager for a large corporate.

Tom has a vision to have a positive influence on the responsible stewardship of quality land ensuring long-term benefits for the soil, production and environment. Along with this, is the importance of highly productive, low-stress livestock and sustainable cropping.

Tom’s assistance in engaging and mentoring the people and assisting in the development of the culture required, underpins successful relationships with our partners.

Client Support Manager & Analyst

Growing up on a property near Bathurst and gaining a Bachelor of Rural Science with 1st Class honours and Grad certificate in Management, has Ashley well placed to support our clients.

Before joining Impact Ag, Ashley had 10 years experience working with a vertically integrated beef company building her skills in Beef Breeding and Backgrounding Properties, Feedlot and Meat Processing.

Ashley’s expertise is in Quality and Food Safety Management Systems and Animal Welfare Management Systems and is experienced in data analysis.

Office & Communications Manager

Justine brings a wealth of experience to Impact Ag in marketing and administration roles from varied business sectors.  Justine commenced her career in the agriculture industry, also managing and owning a sheep stud property and has also worked with and supported teams in the construction and NGO sector. Justine enjoys working with the Impact Ag team, assisting them and their clients in supporting and growing the business.
